An itinerary for 5 days Queen Elizabeth and Chimpanzee tracking Kibale

Day 1: Travel from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Take your morning breakfast as you wait on your Biiso Africa Safari driver/guide for a short safari briefing and later on head to Queen Elizabeth National Park; located in Kasese using the Masaka-Mbarara road. Brief Stopover at Uganda equator and later processed to National Park; check in your booked lodge as you wait for your evening game drive in the Mweya Peninsular. Most likely wild animals to be spotted include; Cape buffaloes, warthogs, and African elephants, later on, visit Lake Katwe to sight crater lakes. If time permits, you can check out salt mining or opt to relax. Return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight

Day 2: Game Viewing and Boat Cruise along the Kazinga Channel

Have your breakfast, and then start with a morning game drive in Kasenyi plains. Spotting different wild animals and collections of birds like Cassin’s grey flycatcher and black bee-eater along the banks of Lake Edward. Return to your lodge for lunch and later on an afternoon boat trip on the Kazinga channel which is ( 2 hours cruise ) along with Lake George and Lake Edward, while encountering aquatic animals like; hippos and crocodiles and over 650 aquatic bird species like flamingos, malachite kingfishers, yellow crown, pink backed pelicans and rare shoebill stock. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth to Kibale National Park

Have your early morning breakfast, and later on check out of your lodge while waiting for pick up by your driver/guide for your next destination which is Kibale forest, National Park. The Park has a high concentration of primates in East Africa with 13 primate species, 60 mammal species, and the best chimpanzee tracking destination in Uganda. besides that Chimpanzee tracking experience, you can visit the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a nature walk. Dinner and overnight at the booked accommodation.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking Kibale Forest National Park

After your morning breakfast, Biiso Africa Safaris’ driver/guide will pick you up and transfer you to the headquarters for your briefing by the Uganda wildlife authority guide. Chimpanzee trekking adventure might take you half day depending on the location of Chimpanzees, while on the tracking expeditions, other likely primates to be spotted includes; Black and white colobus monkeys and L’hoest monkey, wild animals are; forest elephants and giant forest hogs. You can also do a guided walk in the crater lakes if time permits. Dinner and overnight at the booked accommodation.

Day 5: Transfer from Kibale National Park to Kampala
