Day 1 Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After having early morning breakfast, embark on your 3 days gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi safari. As you head to Bwindi, the drive will take you to southwest Uganda by road, cross the Equator then to Mbarara for Lunch and through Savannah grasslands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenic drive through Kigezi Highlands which is commonly referred to as “the Switzerland of Uganda” and banana plantations takes you to the gorilla Sanctuary. Day 2: Gorilla trekking Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Early morning breakfast, pick up and transfer by driver guide to Park headquarters where UWA ranger guide will take you through the Gorilla tracking rules and regulations of the park, set off into the Jungle, the beauty of this rain-forest is spectacular! Offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails easing access to tourists. Once you locate or encounter a gorilla group, strictly an hour in their presence is permitted. Return to your lodge. Have your lunch and thereafter check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi which is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478 m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water making it magical.
