1 day visit to Ngamba Chimpanzee Island.

Ngamba Island is a forested island of 100 acres located 23 km offshore from Entebbe.  It is a forested island of 100 acres.  It provides a safe haven for orphaned chimpanzees and offers a unique opportunity of viewing of chimpanzees in their natural environment.
The feeding times of chimpanzees are at 11.00 am and 3.00 pm each day.

Day 1
Transfer to Entebbe and departure from Entebbe Wildlife center by a motorized canoe departing at 9am or 11am. It is 23 km from Entebbe to the Ngamba Island.
We shall see the chimps being fed by the chimpanzee care givers at 11am or 3pm.
We may go for a bird watching stint within the island or visit the botanical gardens for a nature walk and learn more about the birds and trees of the botanical gardens, before returning back to Kampala.
