Day 1
After early breakfast we will head to Lake Mburo national park. En route we shall stop by the Equator for photographs.
On our way to the park headquarters keep your eyes peeled as you may see zebras, waterbuck, buffaloes. After a picnic lunch we shall take a canoe trip on Lake Mburo where we shall see a variety of water birds and hippos in water. Take a nature walk to the hyena den and other areas of interest to see animals, birds and scenic views
Dinner and overnight at Mantana tented camp/Mihingo lodge (high end) or Rwonyo camp (Budget).We shall thereafter return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
After breakfast we shall go for the early morning game drive. You may see Impala,Zebra,Topi,Oribi,Eland,Klipsspringer,buffalo,waterback,reedbuck,warthogs,baboons and vervets .Leopards may be seen but are rare Interesting birds which you may see include Uganda’s Crested crane, Saddle billed stork and Abyssinian ground hornbills among others. In the afternoon we shall transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge (High end) Or Mweya Hostel (budget).
Day 3;
After early morning breakfast at 6.30am we shall depart for our morning game drive in our car. A compact network of game viewing track starts from the channel drive a road running parallel to the northern shore of Kazinga channel. The most common mammals we are likely to see are Warthog, bushbuck and water bucks while elephants can be seen crossing the tracks .There is the Leopard track which may give us opportunity to see leopards and the kasenyi plains will give us higher chances of encountering lions.
Return by Mid-day at the lodge for lunch at the hotel.
After lunch we shall take a 2 hour and 34km long Kazinga channel boat cruise, one of the most rewarding tour experiences in Queen Elizabeth Park giving you the opportunity to approach within a few meters a multitude of yawning hippos, elephants teaming with egrets, yellow billed storks, Goliath heron, crocodiles buffaloes and the occasional leopards. The bird life on the water is fascinating. Expect to see dozens of water birds such as pied kingfisher and many bee-eaters.
Day 4
Early transfer to Kibale National Park. Have lunch in fort portal town and afternoon visit to the Karambi tombs the burial grounds for the Toro loyal family. We shall have a cultural insight into the history of the kingdom and its people
Dinner and Overnight at Kibale Guest cottages (high end).
Day 5:
Early morning transfer to Kanyanchu tourist center in Kibale National Park. Kibale forest hosts the highest concentration of primates in East Africa. A guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzee, will give you opportunity to see other primates such as red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus monkey and many other primates will enhance your tourism experience. The guide will also be telling you various facts about the flora and fauna of the forest. There are organized visits to the chimps twice daily. A maximum of three groups with a maximum of six visitors per group are allowed per shift.
After the chimp trek there shall be an optional visit to the Bigodi Swamp for a nature walk. Expect to see other primates and plenty of bird species. The other option will be a visit to the Kasenda crater lakes. Return for dinner and overnight.
Day 6:
After an early breakfast we shall head for Murchison falls. We shall stop in Hoima for lunch before heading to the top of the falls in Murchison falls park where the 40m river Nile is forced through a seven meter gap and drops 43meters below. The falls create a thunderous roar .There is a walking trail from the top of the falls with great vantage view points.
Thereafter we shall transfer to Paraa Safari Lodge or Nile Safari Camp (High end), Sambiya River Lodge (Medium end) or Red Chilli Rest Camp (budget) to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7:
After breakfast we shall experience our first scenic game drive game. Our ranger guide will help us view a variety of wildlife such as Uganda Kob, Rothschild’s giraffes, Hartebeests, elephant’s lions and a variety of bird species .After which we shall return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon we shall go for the amazing boat cruise on the Nile river .You willsee immense concentration of pods of swimming hippos in water, basking crocodiles, and a myriad of wildlife coming to the water to drink. Expect to see other game such as Uganda Kob, Elephants, and Water bucks among others. Fish eagles, King Fishers, and bee eaters overhead. You may also see a variety of birds such as Pelican bee eater, Goliath Heron Kingfisher, Egyptian goose,
Hippos in water-Murchison falls launch cruise on the Nile.
The launch cruise ends at the bottom of the falls from where we shall take photographs of the magnificent falls and thereafter return to the lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 8.
After Breakfast, we shall return to Kampala or go for optional activities such as forest walk in Kichumbanyobo forest, chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest or visit to the Zziwa rhino sanctuary to see Uganda rhinos in the wild. After breakfast, go for chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest, one of the best sites for primate viewing. Have lunch in Masindi and thereafter Return to Kampala
Day 9: Transfer to Jinja
Early transfer to Jinja. We shall pass by the Mabira Forest .The Mabira forest reserve was rehabilitated with help from the European Union and now provides a pleasant gateway from the bustling city of Kampala. At the forest you can learn about the park’s animals and plants. The reserve’s 306km² of forest offers a trail system catering for people of all ages and abilities. On your walk your guide will help you spot some of the reserve’s 300 bird species and if you are lucky you will get to see some primate species.
After a visit to Mabira forest we shall have a stopover at the 30m high Owen falls Dam. This dam started operating in 1954 and is located on the Victoria Nile and supplies hydroelectricity to Kenya and Uganda. We shall thereafter continue to Speke Camp Bujagali. This place is a must visit because it is the only place where one gets close to River Nile to experience the awesome rumble of the falls and enjoy the spectacular view. You can pitch up camp next to the rapids. The place is also the starting point for those interested in White water rafting.
In the afternoon we shall visit the Source of the Nile. There is a plaque which commemorates where the Nile River leaves Lake Victoria to its journey of over 5000miles to the Mediterranean Sea. From Jinja, It flows for approximately 500 km (300 miles) farther, through Lake Kyoga, until it reaches Lake Albert. After leaving Lake Albert, the river is known as the Albert Nile. It then flows into Sudan, where it becomes known as the Bahr al Jabal ("River of the Mountain"). At the confluence of the Bahr al Jabal with the Bahr al Ghazal itself 720 km (445 miles) long, the river becomes known as the Bahr al Abyad, or the White Nile, from the whitish clay suspended in its waters. From there, the river flows to Khartoum through Egypt up to the Mediterranean Sea.

Day 10
Optional White water rafting in the morning, morning relaxation or return to Entebbe airport.
After early breakfast for those going for white water rafting we shall transfer to the Bujagali falls, where white water rafting starts. Prior to your departure you will get a briefing on the safety precautions you ought to take .You will have to go with a swim suit and shorts to wear while rafting. Cameras can be protected from the river waters as you raft. You may need sunscreen and sunglasses. You will raft for close to 31kms and this will surely be the wildest day of your life. The rafts explode thru huge walls of white water and drift through the warm green pools in the equatorial sunshine. You may choose a raft where you get to paddle or someone else does it for you. The river is graded 4+ to 5 and top quality safety gear and highly experienced guides run the biggest rapids possible.
Lunch and complimentary drinks will be offered for lunch. You shall be back in Kampala late evening for transfer to Airport or Kampala Hotel.
