  • Launch trip on The Kazinga channel
    A boat trip along the 34 km long Kazinga channel will give you a unique wildlife experience. Expect to see yawning hippos surrounded by a variety of bird species such as yellow billed storks, Goliath Heron, while buffalos relax in water with crocodiles, while elephants come to the channel to quench their thirst.
  • Game viewing
     A compact network of game viewing track starts from the channel drive in the early morning or late afternoon from a road running parallel to the northern shore of Kazinga channel. The most common mammals likely to be seen are Warthog, bushbuck and water bucks while elephants can be seen crossing the tracks. There is over 200km of well maintained game viewing tracks through the mating grounds of Uganda Kob, hunting lions, elephants, as well as beautiful scenery of crater lakes and traditional salt works all shadowed by the legendary mountains of the moon.     Bird Watching
     Queen Elizabeth National Park hosts 606 bird species.  You can easily see the birds with an experienced guide who normally knows the most interesting bird spots around swamps, lakes and other interesting habitat. Key species include; the African fish eagle, martial eagle, papyrus gonolek, African Skimmer and Uganda’s most sought after bird the prehistoric looking shoe Bill stork.

    Walks in Maramagambo Forest
    Short and long guided nature walks can be arranged. A visit to the bats cave can reward you with a sight of bat caves housing resident pythons and the occasional leopard. Other trails lead into the heart of the forest and the guide can tell you a lot about the flora and fauna of the forest.

    Chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura gorge.
    The Kyambura gorge which is 16 kms long and 100 metres deep was formed by the turbulent waters of Kyambura River. It provides home to chimpanzees, black and white colobus and red colobus monkeys, Olive baboons and other primates as well as plenty of forest birds. Chimpanzee trekking visits are organized by the Uganda Wildlife Authority in the mornings and afternoons

    Traditional Salt Work Visit
    One of the oldest salt mines and industries in Uganda is located at L. Katwe. Salt in this place is being mined by traditional methods of the 14th Century.

    Game drives in Ishasha
    Game drives south of the park, commonly known as the Ishasha sector will reward you with sight of the tree climbing lions on large fig trees, Topi, Uganda Kob and Buffaloes also graze in these plains.
