ACCOMMODATION LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK UGANDA
1. MIHINGO
The lodge is about 8km from the Nshara gate. It has a swimming pool with magnificent views and offers 10 individual rooms scattered along the top and down the wide kopje, all commanding incredible views - to the west over the national park, or to the east, over Lake Kachera. Some rooms have stunning combination of part safari tent - erected onto a wide wooden floor leading out onto a decking -attached to a permanent building incorporating the hallway and bathroom, all of which is covered by a layered, thatched roof. The rooms are simply, but tastefully decorated. Some rooms have a forest view, others a lake view and others have rocky outcrop views. The dining area is of a thatched structure built of rocks, wood of dead olive weathered olive trees and native grass .First and second flavors are offered and also, desert. KIMBLA MANTANA LAKE MBURO TENTED
Kimbla Mantana tented camp is 24km from the park entrance gate and is set in a tranquil environment. As you drift to sleep you can hear odd noises of birds and bats as well as hyenas howling.
Mantana luxury tented camps are equipped with a toilet, shower, two single comfortable beds, a dressing table and a wash basin. The beds all have mosquito netting. The tents are remote from each so you have the privacy to enjoy your company; the toilets use sand combination. The camp has nine guest tents, a restaurant and a bar, all raised on wooden platforms that provide amazing views of Lake Mburo.
