Budongo Forest Reserve

Tourist Sites:
Kaniyo Pabidi and Busingiro tourism sites are part of the Budongo Forest Reserve where forest walks can be organized in search of chimpanzees and other primate species and knowing about the flora and fauna of the area.

There is a 115km trail system that takes visitors through the forest at Kaniyo Pabidi eco tourism site which is an isolated block from Budongo forest from where visitors can engage in chimpanzee tracking and bird watching. At the Busingiro Eco tourism site visitors go for bird watching at along the royal mile between Nyabyeya Forestry College and the research station.

Basic camping facilities are available in both tour sites for visitors wishing to stay.
